Club News/Announcements

New Weekly Junior Academy to start. - 11 June 2008

From Sun 29th June 08 Martin Moors will start a new junior academy snooker section, which will be aimed at 12-18 year olds. Since the snooker club has only 4 tables it will be limited to 16 people, four to a table is ok.

Any youngsters which are keen to take up snooker or want to improve thier game are welcome to come along. Awards will be given to show their progress.

The club will open at around 9.45am and the academy will start at 10am and finish at 12.00am. Parents can drop of their children but must pick them up at 12.00am prompt.

New Members - 11 June 2008
Any new members joining from July onwards can get become members for next year as well as remainder of this year. Sub's are as normal Adults £30, Juniors/Seniors £20, plus all new members will pay a once only £5 joining fee.

Buckingham Bandits Win 1st Divison - 10 June 2008

The Buckingham Bandits won the Milton Keynes City Snooker League 1st Division at end of April. The team players which acheived this were Martin Moors, Richard Budrey, Nick Fenables, Anthony Weight & Phil Justice.

The team were given their winners trophies and the perennial shield on Sun 8th June, by noneother than "Jimmy (The Whirlwind) White"

Buckingham Snooker Club 'A' win 3rd Division. - 26 May 2007

Buckingham SC 'A' won the Milton Keynes City Snooker League (MKCSL) 3rd Division in thier first season in the league. The team players were as follows: Martin Moors (Captain), Nick Fenables, Roy Fenabales, Trevor Fenables, Kevin Jolley, & Anthony Weight. The team will pick up their individual winners trophies and the 3rd Divison Perenial Trophy at the MKCSL presentation night on the 8th June.
